But this version, it's been given a "The Lumineers" or "Mumford & Sons" sound/feel to it, and I like it. Enjoy!

Studio Sessions #2: Call Me Maybe - Us
So this song actually became (and still is) a phenomenal song, being very catchy and then used in quite a few gags, jokes and now even, a campaign jingle soundtrack.

Lip care
So lately, I'm more into taking care of my skin. With that being said, I buy more things for my lips than other facial care. Next I would probably get facial wash.
First I got Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm Menthol with SPF 20. They also Baby Lip Balm Berry and Cherry flavors, but since I have a Lip Balm #1 Mango from Kiehl's already, Menthol was the obvious (different) choice for me.
Oh and today, finally I found a place where they sell Carmex here in the Philippines! It's First Aid in Greenbelt 3, or PCX. I don't know if they have it in other branches of PCX though. I thought I'd have to get it from London, but this is actually cheaper in conversion from Pounds (£), which is a good thing. It's 109. 75 Pesos here, and it cost about £2.69 from Boots in London.
I got the Classic Carmex and looking forward to using it as an alternative to the other ones I have.

The cold winter in London and heat of Summer in the Philippines gets my lips dry every now and then, and I don't like that. Here's so long to dry chapped lips!

Birthday Wishlist
For my birthday this year, here's my wishlist which I will keep updating until November.
1. Toms (shoes)
2. Polaroid camera
3. Casio G-shock/Baby G (watch)
4. Canon lens
5. Keds (shoes)
6. Kiehl's
7. MAC Archie's Girls Collection (make-up)
8. Speculoos Cookie Butter supply (Crunchy or smooth is fine!)
9. Smucker's Goober Grape supply
10. Kenneth Cole (watch)
11. AirWalk (shoes)
12. Leica Camera AG
Looking forward to a great birthday! (claiming it now! 21 Mar 2013)
What matters most is that those closest to me remember and greet me. I would prefer any personalised gift, because it's more thought through than this list. Being able to spend it with loved ones would be just perfect, especially one person I'm waiting to come home. That would be the best birthday gift ever.

Anna and the King (movie)
You've heard the story before. Maybe you've watched the movie (or the musical), The King and I.
The timeline and historical detail may not be as accurate as it should be, but storywise, beautiful.
So let me just say this about Anna and the King.
1. Jodie Foster as Anna Leonowens - she's real beautiful.
2. Chow Yun Fat as King Mongkut - the look of love he has, I melt. I really wanted him to kiss her.
3. Young Tom Felton as Louis Leonowens - I didn't realise it was him until I watched again recently.
4. How Can I Not Love You sung by Joy Enriquez, during the last dance between Anna and the King - Everytime I see the last scene, it always brings tears to me. It's so heartbreakingly beautiful. It gets me everytime because I can understand how they feel - to love someone so much, to know you'll be happiest with them and not be able to actually be with them. Yes, I know that feeling pretty well.
I would watch it everytime it's on tv. Again, I really wanted him to kiss her so bad. I think I would cry if he did.
Soundtrack:
I recommend everyone watch this -
Cannot touch, cannot hold, cannot be together
Cannot love, cannot kiss, cannot love each other
Must be strong and we must let go
Cannot say what our hearts must know
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
Cannot dream, cannot share sweet and tender moments
Cannot feel how we feel, must pretend it’s over
Must be brave and we must go on, must not say
What we’ve known all along
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
How can I not love you
Must be brave and we must be strong
Cannot say what we’ve known all along
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
How can I not love you
When you are gone
Quotable quotes:

“If love was a choice, who would choose such exquisite pain? - Tuptim
“Until now, Madame Leonowens, I did not understand supposition, man can be satisfied with only one woman.” - Kung Mungkut
"Most people do not see the world as it is. They see it as they are." - Margaret Landon
“I can see it in your eyes. Something awful has happened.” - Anna Leonowens
